The cultural association 7 thousand miles away participates in the LIFE SALVAGuARDiA project by helping the diffusion of an ecological culture and safeguard.

The Association, represented by Giuliano Radici, dealt with the Artistic direction of the widespread exhibition project In Praise of the Limit with the aim of inviting viewers through the language of art and beauty to reflect on the effects of climate changes and on environmental impacts generated by man in the environment in which he lives.

7milamiglialontano is a Brescian cultural association that has been creating for over 10 years documentation trips with solidarity objectives. Chaired by the photographer Julian Roots and animated by volunteers and image and communication professionals, since 2009 it has traveled hundreds of thousands of kilometers and raised over 300,000 euros which it has donated to various partners, non-profit organizations and associations, and their projects dedicated to education and environmental protection around the world.

In 2019 it kicked off 7MML_5.O “H2oPLANET, the latest and most ambitious project of 7MML, which is made up of 7 distinct and adventurous journeys with as many solidarity goals. Photographers, videomakers, drone operators, writers, journalists, professionals and enthusiasts, they will travel as much of the planet's coasts as possible, completing an experience that also aims to be a creative way of describing the world.

The goal is to "redesign" the perimeters of Europe, the Americas, Africa, Oceania and Asia with images, words and sounds to raise awareness of the problems afflicting waters, producing an important contribution both in terms of content and image. It will not only be the ugliness that will be highlighted, in fact we will try to give voice to all those positive situations of great beauty that will be encountered, just as inevitably, along the way.

Completed 5.1 Europe in 2019, after the forced pandemic stop (in which we still managed to make some reports in Africa) we will explore Central America starting from June 2023.

But we have never stopped and we have had the pleasure of creating artistic projects and installations in Brescia and in the Province, including "La Storia Dentro" and "La Biennale della Prossimità" in Brescia in 2022.
