Hotel Alfieri participates in the Life SALVAGuARDiA project through participation in R!GENERA HOTEL, the innovative process of reducing the environmental impact; which implements actions to reduce the waste of materials, water, energy, food of the participating accommodation facilities.

The Hotel Alfieri in Sirmione has chosen to join Life Salvaguardia with the aim of acquiring a series of eco-sustainability brands highly appreciated by its mainly foreign customers. The primary purpose of the brand is therefore to allow an ever-increasing number of guests to feel an active part in energy saving and waste reduction, from the reuse of towels to separate collection even in their own accommodation. The structure has already equipped itself with the necessary technology to inhibit, for example, the operation of the air conditioning if the windows are opened, a home automation system switches off all necessary devices in the absence of the customer from their room.

Differentiated waste collection

The structure aims to create separate waste collection points on each floor of the structure and at the disposal of guests: swimming pool, garage, floors, garden, etc. as well as reducing food waste and the use of plastic.

Reduction of consumption

The structure has already equipped itself with the necessary technology to inhibit, for example, the operation of the air conditioning if the windows are opened, a home automation system switches off any unnecessary equipment in the absence of the customer from his room.

The whole structure is equipped with LED bulbs with energy efficiency class A, including service areas such as kitchens, garages and signs.

Employees and collaborators

All the employees and collaborators of the structure are personally involved and are the first spokespersons of the corporate values. They are following an "Environmental Education" course through training and awareness briefings aimed at achieving the objectives set by the company.
