The Brescia Intercommunal Library System Ext participates in the Life Safeguard project by helping the dissemination of project contents; in order to stimulate the participation and reflection of citizens on the importance of disseminating one ecological culture of safeguarding the Garda environment.

From 13 April 2023 to 24 May 2023 the Intermunicipal Library System organizes the Review “Nature that heals”, five evenings in as many Garda libraries in which the public will be able to meet authors who in various capacities have written books in which they deal with topics dear to the Life SalvaGuARDiA project: from food waste to biodiversity, natural remedies and much more.*

The Brescia Est Inter-municipal Library System, established in 1978, has since its origins the Municipality of Rezzato as leader. The system covers an area of approximately 620 sq km and is based in the library of the Municipality of Rezzato. It serves a population basin of just under 240,000 inhabitants. It has a coordinator and a cataloger dedicated to coordinating the activities of libraries, organizing interlibrary loan, cataloging, staff training, and the collection of statistical data.
