Sustainability assessment: the tool for measuring the degree of sustainability of a company.

One year after the launch of Life SALVAGuARDiA, around twenty companies and organizations have already decided to join our European project by completing a assessment with the aim of measuring their current degree of sustainability and at the same time increasing their awareness and knowledge regarding the issues of European Green Deal.

One of the goals of Life SALVAGuARDiA is precisely the involvement of the productive realities of Lake Garda, immersed in an ecological transition increasingly required by the new national development scenarios. In this context the evaluation of its own Degree of Sustainability becomes an essential and increasingly widespread tool at the foundation of one's management and development strategies.

Concretely, companies and organizations from Lake Garda have been invited to inaugurate a process of reducing its environmental impacts to contribute to an effective sustainable change to the benefit of the Garda area. The first step of this process is the possibility for the companies involved to take advantage of the Sustainability Assessment which allows you to re-read your internal processes and evaluate how close or far they are from achieving your goals Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

The sustainability assessment offered to the realities of the Garda Bresciano sees the basis a software and calculation methodology innovative, fruit of the work of Circularity – startups and benefit companies – technical partner by Life SALVAGuARDiA.

The revamped version of the tool developed by Circularity has just recently gotten by RINA – certification multinational active in more than 70 countries – the validation of its own calculation methodology, reworked and adapted from the one used at European level.

The assessment therefore takes the form of a "snapshot" of the level of sustainability of businesses and allows you to to verify, self And to what extent they are reaching i Goals (SDGs) indicated in the UN Agenda 2030.

For the Garda companies, the next step will be to decide which services or projects to launch in order to concretely improve their sustainability performance, supported along the way by the technical-environmental consultancy of the experts of the Life SALVAGuARDiA project.
